Hi Guys
I just updated my system to "XP professional". I find when I click on photo thumbnails, the computer freezes up, tries to open another page, and after a minute returns me to the page where I clicked the thumbnail.
Any suggestions on settings required to allow enlarging of photos?
Thanks in advance.

<I may not be understanding you....is this a system problem you are having, or is our software causing the problem exclusively?...>
If a system problem (it happens on the files on you local disc...
I guess if it is causing problems...turn it off.
I turn it off because I generally get huge files (even a couple weeks of RT photos gets to mammoth folder size).
To do this, go My Documents, and change the view from thumbnails to details - then click Tools>Folder Options>View and click the "Apply to all folders button"
That should set your default view for all folders to details, not thumbnails.
If our software is causing the problem, let me know what browser you are using, with the version number (click help about...)

This seems to be a problem when I click on one item to bring up another file.....like your enlarged view. It also happens when on another forum. The other forum is text based, but you click on a thread to bring it up.
The whole deal worked fine w/ windows 2000. I got a new computer yesterday (dell) with windows SP pro on it. It is only now that I am having problems?
The problem only (so far) seems to happen with the internet. I do like the icon setup and hopefully there is a way to make it work again. I'm hoping its a switch or option buried someplace? Thanks again for your help.

Disclaimer...I don't know what else you are using on your machine or how these setting might affect them... Before I did anything, I would consider whether or not you are having problems on other sites. For other readers...I do not suggest messing with these settings if you do not know what you are doing.
Assuming you are using IE 6
Try Tools>Internet Options
Among the settings that may be causing this:
Browsing
Reuse Window for Launching shortcuts - this might want to be turned off...
Microsoft VM
Should have one of these clicked...I use JIT Compiler
Multimedia
I have the following checked:
Automatic Resizing
image toolbar
Animations
Sounds
Show Pictures
Smooth Dithering..
