The SoCo squids went out Priority Mail a couple days ago. You should have them today Shaun. Here's a preview pic. Sorry the background is not darker.
Tying instructions: Tie in 5 or so extra wide flashabou at the hook bend (long shank 1/0 is about right) with mono thread. Leave long to extend past hackles. Tie in 2 or 3 white or cream hackles at bend on each side, with the underside of feather facing out. Tie in 2 flashabou strips at bend. Wind thread forward over hook, then use the flashabou strips to make the underbody. Tie off at head and whip finish, cut off thread. Superglue the whipfinish and also superglue the wraps in back where the hackles are tied in. Take the thread back to the tail and tie in a short piece of pearl EZ body. Whip finish, cut off thread, and superglue. Take the thread up front. Push the EZ body back to cover the tail wraps. Secure the the EZ body at the head and whip finish. Glue on the plastic eyes with GOOP and let dry. Tie in some white marabou feathers at the head to veil the body. Whip finish, cut thread and superglue the head. Using a scissor, curl the tail flashabou strips. Use a black marking pen to add spots to the tail hackles.

They will be in the mail on Monday. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. They are good, and a few different colors.
