Fished a back bay of the Connecticut River up here in Hanover NH. Landed this nice 30" Northern at noon, chased flags all day, kept me nice and warm. Ended up catching a nice smallie too probably in the 2.5lb class, on a 5" shinner, the pike was on a 6" sucker, she wasn't hooked too bad so I snaped a picture and let her go. The ice up here is getting really thick, even on the river its close to 10" :rolleyes: makes hand augering a chore, but it's nice to get out. Need to find a power auger :brow, hope to get out again this weekend, been some reports of 40inch+ pike coming out of the river.
