Hey Guys
For all you steelheaders out there I came across a piece of equip that is pretty slick. As you know when winter steel heading or any fishing for that matter you need the spikes, to keep from bustin your ass on ice covered rocks & such. I have tried all the strap on devices (save the jokes). But the korkers & other products get clogged with snow so after a while your walking around with frankenstien Ice blocks where your feet used to Be. I just got a pair of those Korkers wading Boots with the exchangable soles. Man these things are killer. There are 5 different bottoms. With one pair you can have trout boots, steelhead boots, there is a saltwater tread, felt, felt with studs, and they have an optional boat shoe bottom so you could were them as flats sneakers and not scuff up the guides boat. I usually dont get too wound up about stuff (except how crappy Powell rod Co. is) But these things are bullet proof and really versatile. They cost 125$ with three bottoms a little High but considering most of us have two different pairs there actually cheeper.www.korkers.com or your local shop
