Well the poll was a close one...ppppthhh:rolleyes: Looks like everyone wants to know everyone elses secrets!!;) Go to flies it is! Please also give a little description as to why this is your go to fly...

Due date will be March 15 to keep consistent with the swap dates from the last few months. When completed please PM me for mailing information. FAQ thread applies.

If you can, take pic’s of your flies in various stages of production and upload them into the pattern library, the more the merrier!!

Also, no pressure, but if you like, throw in an extra for a “swap fly giveaway” like we did with the hardtail flies.

Keep in mind there will be several swaps this month, so if you enter a few please watch the due dates, they can be a lot of work!

So….get to tying!!:)

I am in for my fav bunny fly for Boston harbor. 90% of my harbor fish came on this fly last year and the year before. Its basically a bunny clouser but with a brass cone head and a little larger than most flies like that sold.

I'm in. I'll be trying what we call up north the guitar minnow. Its a half and half that is particularly effective in the waters off the southern maine coast.

I would love to get in on this...I have a couple of ideas floating around, but no names as of yet. I will have to come up with a cool name for one of these flies. But, I'd love to get in on it while there's still room.
Thanks!

I'm in. Either gonna whip up my crick killer pattern or a pnut pattern. Any interest in creases or is that too generic?

Sure...its a very simple white fly. I turn the hackles flat rather than praying hands style because I think it gives the fly more jigging motion. tied on a 1/0 hook

I also recieved MRAugust's flies....Nice Fly!!!

I have all of mine tied (have for a while) and I'll mail them in the next day or two.

I tied a clouser. I know there is a clouser swap going on, and I know a clouser may not be the most exciting entry or the best fly to show off , but I thought about it and this fly is really my go-to. I bet I fish with this fly every time I get out. All of my biggest fish last year were with this fly etc. etc.

It is olive bucktail over gray bucktail with black crystal flash in between. It also has a wrapped silver flash body and epoxy head.

Look forward to seeing everyone's flies. I think that this type of swap (favorites) usually produces the best flies.

Not long now before we try them out.
