Hi gang,

Been messing up my bench the past few days tying up epoxy patterns. Angie Chestnut of www.exumabonefish.com and www.eleutherabonefish.com, swears by her Bonefish Biter pattern. Especially for the spooky bones on Eleuthera. I've experimented with her original pattern and added new colours and barred legs.

Also threw in a pic of one of my favorite Clouser patterns.

Got a neat photo software package (CorelDRAW Essentials 2) with my QuickTax software order. EVER COOL!!! Just tons and tons of effects (used a couple on these pics).

Henry, Thanks for posting this .I have saved those two sites on my favorites. The flies are really great...nice and delicate looking abd perfect color for the prey. It was nice to see that Angie was named by the IGFA as one of the top female flyfishers in the world. Henry.. any chance you might give those tying recipes? Especially the Clouser????

It's a simple one.

My Clouser:

eyes - large nickle plate bead chain with stick on optic's

head - black 3/0 uni-thread

tail - white bucktail

body - pearl crystalflash

throat - tuft of hot orange knitting yarn (brushed out using my velcro tool :) )

underwing - chartreuse crystalflash

wing - chartreuse bucktail

overwing - peacock herl 6 - 8

Have you tied that clouser as just a bend back? It looks very fishy! More an emotional statement and profile. I often use bend backs where there's some cover or I'm going to be "bottom bouncing"...
