If you can, take pic’s of your flies in various stages of production and upload them into the pattern library, we could use a few different clouser color chemes!

Also, no pressure, but if you like, throw in an extra for a “swap fly giveaway” like we did with the hardtail flies.

Keep in mind there will be several swaps this month, so if you enter a few please watch the due dates, they can be a lot of work!

Shipped this Tuesday morning fine "Squirrel Tail Clouser" ties to SRuge.

Tying at "The Fly Fishing Show" event this weekend in Ontario, CA provided the time to complete all required. Consistent looking flies too from one long tying session (under the public microscope.)

How's the rest of the group doing? 'Less than one week to the deadline!

Sorry for the late update, I am picking up one set tomorrow that hase been done for a while, and am waiting for the last set in the mail. Shouldn't be long now. Thanks for your patience.

Update....Got all but one now...Waiting on RBrennan. Sent PM's. If I don't hear back by the time I recieve the last set for the Other swap as well I will ship out without them. Thanks.

I will have pics up soon. A couple observations....

- big geographic range here, Maine, Colorado, Cali, Ct, MA.

- What I liked most about this swap....I expected all the same basic size, same basic shape and materials. I was pleasantly surprised and fortunately completely wrong. Good range of flies, there is a good variety of sizes and colors. I think you guys will be surprised.

- lots of variation in the dumbell eyes. Not just lead, or brass.

I only got ten flies....am I missing something here? I though we tied twelve and then recieved 12. Hmmm

Everyone tied 12, you get everyone elses back (unless you want one of yours back), so you get 11. The extra we have been using for the givaways. This time someone droped out, so we had 10 to send back (including your own would have been 11). The extra set from the missing person was going to the Jimmy Fund Auctions, and the extra dflies in general were gong to a giveaway like usual. I never keep extras, they always go to someone else. Sorry if I caused any confusion, I should have been more clear with what everyone would be recieving. I will be more clear next time, I would hate to think someone is left with a bad taste in thier mouth after a swap.
