Just a couple pics to warm you up. Both were taken at Savannah Sound Eleuthera

The first image is large. As for the second image, I hope you got the fish quickly back in the water after the photo was taken.

Is there an written and/or unwritten guideline regarding the size of photo's posted? If so, I truly appologize. I am still a newby here and not fully familiar with all of the forum rules. It was my intention to share a scene that many of us can likely relate to. Wherever bonefish are to be found, piles of conch shells and fishing boats are certain to be part of the scenery. I will reduce the size of any subsiquent photos I submit.

Regarding the photo of the bonefish...Yes! it was indeed quickly returned to the water after a couple quick photo's. I might point out that the fish went untouched by human hands. You see, I chose to beach this fish as I am often want to do (when fishing alone) in preference to "Hi-sticking" my rod and potentially snapping a tip (re: 14 foot leader). One added advantage of this method is fish can be landed and released in a much greener state as opposed to being exhausted to the point where they can be easily brought to hand.

I have the greatest respect for the fish I am fortunate enough to fish over and catch.

Best regards,

The conch pile is alive and well I see. What's the rest of the story. How was the fishing in general and any really hot spots? My pals and I are headed to Eleuthera for our annual trip March 2-16.

The photo's are from my trip to L'utra last March. We lucked out with the weather the first full week in March...tropical heat-wave. This was my first trip there so we didn't get to check out many spots...Govenor's, Balara, 10 bay, S. Palmetto, Savannah and Tarpum bays. The fish were tough and I only landed 9 on the fly for 6 days of fishing. I'll be better prepared fly wise this March/April.

I think I met you and your pal at Balara last March. It was your last day and you were leaving for home shortly.

Henry, great photos. As for picture size. The new forum sofware will resize the pics for you automatically to a viewable size. Don't worry about that.

Quick - When I use my computer at work (after work of course) with the fast connection speeds the pics resize. But when I go home and go back to dialup--124-3 they do not. That could be the issue.
