SAGE RPLXi 1/2 price at .......

1/2 price at Bob Smith's WH. I am all but an impulsive buyer. I always do tons of research when I buy a piece of equipment but today I bought a 2-piece SAGE RPLXi #8 at Bob Smith. They are selling all their SAGE (RPLXi, DS2, RPL,...) at 1/2 price. I picked up the last SAGE RPLXi #8 at .... $260 pre-tax. I almost bought the TFO TiCR last evening but I am now a SAGE owner (1st SAGE ever). They also have $20 off some St Croix and G.Loomis. I was told they are getting rid of the RPLXi to offer the new Xi2 instead.

That's a great deal, but not as good a deal I thought I was getting from a reel-timer on this site, the guy offers me a sage rplxi, then never gets back to me --124-3 wish he never pm with the offer - that really --126-3-ed me up.

Bass3six: I am sorry but I did not pay attention to the G.Loomis models. If you are looking for a specific model I would call before going there. I understand the sale has been going on for a while and the SAGE rods did not last too long. I got the last #8. They still had a couple of Loomis and St Croix though.
