i'm not sure i can any longer see the big attraction of going to the kittery trading post. i was up there yesterday and was appalled by the prices. for example, those little mepps spinners you buy for trout/pan fish are $1.75 at dicks and walmart. they were $2.99 up there. i also looked at some saltwater flies. a crease fly will cost you $3.95 over at the natick outdoor store. but they were $6.95 over in kittery. the only thing i found (and bought) was the usually hard to find cortland camoflaged (monofilament)line. but they have that over at roach brothers in cambridge and that's alot closer. other places carry it in smaller spools. but i like to get the 650 yard spools. but, in any event, i'll never go there again (atleast for my self-i'll still duck in there if i have to take the trip with my wife to visit the rest of the outlets).
