Last Year (http://reel-time.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30889) was my first time riding in the PMC (http://www.pmc.org) (in honor of my son who went through several painful surgeries and scans after being diagnosed).

Pulling into Norton, MA. for lunch!

Arriving at the Wellesly finish to a hug from my hero! NECN did a Live At Noon interview with the whole family - it came out great!

With the generous support of Reel-Time members and our hosts, I started with a goal of $2500 in April and quickly became $6050.00! by the time the ride was over in August!

HOME RUN!

Well everyone, on August 7th and 8th, I'll be doing it again! However, this year, there are a few changes:

I'm riding a new route - the hardest one - Sturbridge to P-Town! 200 Miles! That's 20% more miles this year and I am therefore raising my sponsorship goal 20% to $8000!

I've formed a PMC Team (http://pmc.org/ride.asp?topic=Ride/teams) called "LEGS" (Legs Eliminating Great Suffering) and we will have a Pedal Partner (http://pmc.org/ride.asp?topic=Ride/pedalpartners) (will be assigned in April). This year my ride is a tribute to my son for his courage and perserverance, enduring many trips to Children's Hospital. It will also be in honor of a child at Childrens who I have not met yet - who I will be honored to ride for - who this ride IS for!

I'll be riding a New Bike (http://www.sevencycles.com/lib/img/products/bikes/axiomL.jpg) made by Seven Cycles (http://www.sevencycles.com) in Watertown, MA. It's made of Titanium but it's still not tougher than Sam!

...and finally, but most importantly, it is with indescribable joy and pride that I announce....

"Titanium Sam" and his sister will be riding in the "kids PMC" - The Wildwood Challenge (http://www.townonline.com/medfield/news/local_regional/mp_newsmdwilkinson07092003.htm). I know many adults that can't ride 14 miles. The fact that 6-year old Sam is attempting to do this 14 mile ride is a testament to the work that is done at Dana Farber and Childrens with the financial support of charity events like these and people LIKE YOU!
One thing hasn't changed - Renee will again be a volunteer massage therapist in Bourne! I'm one lucky guy!

Here is my story (http://pmc.org/mypmc/profiles.asp?Section=story&eGiftID=MM0249)on the PMC website. Cancer doesn't care about your age, your race, your religion or your income. It strikes everywhere and anyone. Help me by sponsoring my ride and the fight against Cancer!

The easiest way to donate is by using any major credit card and the following secure eGift link:

YES! I Want To Support The Fight Against Cancer! (https://www.pmc.org/egifts//makeadonation.asp?EgiftID=MM0249)

When you use eGift, you can make your donation in memory or honor of someone and a notification of your generosity will be sent to a recipient of your choice! You'll also receive an email receipt of your donation (and a letter of course, if the donation exceeds $250 - for tax purposes).

If you prefer, you can send a check (http://pmc.org/donation.asp?topic=/checkscash), just contact me for mailing info!
