Bonefish Swap - Flies all in.

I will use this thread to post the pictures from the swap. Unfortunately, Joe B. informed me today that he had to bow out due to time constraints. I will do my best to get them photgraphed and in the mail this weekend.

This is my first swap so please pardon the fly (no pun intended) by the seat of my pants format. I just finished divvying up the flies and realized something. Each participant sent in 12 flies. With Joe B. out that left one extra full set. My assumption is that each tier doesn't really want his fly back, so that leaves a second full set. My intention is to still send Joe a set since the factors for his withdrawal were really out of his control and he is a heck of a nice guy! The second set I was going to send to Ryder who is the new Bonefisher who is headed on his first trip from the previous thread. This means you will have sent in 12 flies and only get 10 (really nice --127-3- ) flies in return. Let me know if you have any issues/concerns with this format.

Huh, I got a PM from Ryder about his trip. I don't remember it saying that he was off for it so soon? Had I known, I would've sent him a few in the mail.

You are correct. A few of you did send in more than 12. I assumed the extras were for Ryder and maybe an extra for the swap meister --123-3 . Since Ryder is already on his trip we will do at least one giveaway and if Joe doesn't want his we can do a second. I sent Ryder some flies a few days ago from some of the early arrivals as well as a few I tied for him so he is not losing out here.

You're the swapmeister so your decision is fine with me. The other half and our daughter are due home from Costa Rica tonite so thoughts of the pending arrival of these flies should help to soothe my brain while they taunt me with the tales of their adventure.

Flies will go out this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Joe Branham has offered up his flies for the giveaway so I will put a few packages together for that as well. I have been very impressed with the quality of the flies so I think everyone is in for a treat.
