Site # 1 Take River Road (SR 24) South from Route 9W in Port Ewen, NY About 2 miles to a east side pull off. Parking for 7-9 vehicles in the pull off.
Distance to water 15 to 25 yards depending on the tides.* The flats move out to the east side of the channel.* Early morning (dark) stripers cruise the flats looking for bait.
Site # 2 Continue South on River Road to the Scenic Hudson view park on the east side of the road. (Opposite the Hudson River Espous Lighthouse) Parking for avout 10 vehicles.
Distance to water 20 - 30 yards.* Fish the flats in both directions and especially infront of the small point directly to the south of the park.*Early morning and dusk into dark best time to fish the flats.
