I am debating about using my RPLXi weight#8 with a 250 or 300 grain. Any advice or personal experience is welcomed.

Thanks,

PAX

Hey Pax,
I find that the airflo 300gr. depthfinder is a very nice balance for my sage rplxi 9wt., and I fish the airflo 200gr when I fish sinking line with my rplxi 8wt. (most of my 8wt. fishing is with a floater or Int line)

I think you will find the 300 gr just has that little bit extra when you need it. Wind is always a consideration around here and I think that little extra head weight will be an immense help.

Plus it get the fly into the strike zone faster.

Faster equals more fish, which equals more offerings to bigger fish. Now all we need are some cooperative participants. --127-3-

I wouldn't go any higher then a 350. If I were to choose I would go with a 300.
