Does anyone have experience with the Action Optics photochromic lenses? I have been very hesitent to get a pair thinking that I don't want my lenses changing color when I am sight fishing. I just felt like it can be tough enough to spot on some days w/o adding another factor to the mix. However, not many people seem to be stocking the standard lenses and a lot of shop owners are saying the reason is the photochromic are just a better lense. Before I take the plunge I would love some un-biased feedback.

Thanks in advance,

Sean

I have been using the photochromatic brown lenses for going on three years now. I love them. They are the best fishing glasses I have ever used. They are darker when they need to be but the real benefit is during the early/late times of the day when you want the benefit of polorization but not a lot of darkness. Two thumbs up...

Been using a pair of polarizing, photochromic, prescription lenses for 20 years. Same set of lenses, on the 6th set of frames. I see no reason to get another or switch. 3 thumbs up.

I had two pair of them and they just never seemed to get dark enough. I sent them both back about a month ago and had the lenses swapped for the constant density brown (prescription). I wish they did a dark grey in prescription but no luck on that just yet.
