Gone. MetroWest iceout report. Two days ago Whitehall had a lot of thin ice cover all over. But the warmth, rain, and winds of yesterday made it go poof, and now there is open water everywhere except the boat ramp cove and in some of the other coves.

Ashland Res still has thin ice cover everywhere, but it won't take much to melt it. Inlet and outlet areas are ice free however.

Time for open water! I wanted to get out this weekend and fish open water, but there was too much work at home. This warmer weather will get something moving.
