Looking for a new line for a trip to Casa Blanca have a T&t 9# weight rod & a pate bone fish reel. Thinking of getting a slow sink line or would a floater be better? should I get a 10#or a 9#. What your view. (#$119)

Check out the Cortland 555 Tropic Plus Ghost Tip.Try the WF 9 F on that outfit, you won't be sorry. Also works great on windy day bones because of the clear tip so fish freak less if you line them. Also good for snook, small tarpon. Good slick finish, line is a joy to cast.

Peanuts, I've been to CB 8-10 times. Your primary flyline down three will be a straight floater. Get one of the high end tropical floaters from either Cortland, SciAngler or Rio. Spend some time practicing your accuracy before heading down.Tan Raghead crab sz 2-4 the fly of choice for permit.
