they are saying mybe 60's end of the week..

maybe the ice cover that is hanging out may finally leave!!
the trout ponds should be crawling with anglers this weekend..
I know I have been out honing my skills!!
Anyone else been venturing out?

not alot of hold over fish in my area they are all stocky fish and most are taken over the sprint and summer months..

No, I just meant for something to do. Norwich, other parts of the Thames, Providence all have holdovers to one degree or another. Just wondering if anyone was going after them.

With the warm forcast for the weekend, I'm definately heading out for some trout fishing this weekend. First attempt, so we'll see what we can do. I fish the ponds here on Cape Cod, and will probably end up fishing Scargo. I live on a small pond, and this morning I actually saw a fish rise....spring is coming!! I'll let you know how I make out.

went to a stream in the north amherst area. didnt get any. only fished for about an hour. saw some small dark stoneflies coming off. they were dark gray w/ what looked like mottled collors on their wings. not sure what exactly they were. anyone know? nice to be out.
