Ma trout stocking halted indefinitely!

I just read in a press release, that no more trout will be stocked in Massachusetts waters for the remainder of this season. Declining license sales, and rising gas prices were cited as the primary reasons.

The article I read highlighted the unprecedented success of MA Wildlife Programs. It said that they have stocked sunfish, carp, catfish, crappies, and yellow perch in almost every waterway in the state.

Go check. I bet you will find them in a pond near you!
