Took the boat out on Sunday to fish a not so secret location ( but I will not mention where to avoid 200 boats sitting there this weekend ) and as usal it produced some quality Stripers. Boated 7 fish using a Yellow Bomber. Watching 8-15lb fish chase it to the boat and SLAM it on the surface was heart stopping! --127-3-

I was reading another post of yours, Mike, about stripers, bait and the mud/clear water line, good tip. I'm fishing your neighborhood tomorrow I think, not sure after that for the weekend. Nice seeing you a couple weeks ago, put a face on another guy. That was the ice breaker for me but haven't been out since.

Went out on 4/8, 4/9 and 4/11...

Thursday produced abso-smurfly nada!! No fish whatsoever. --124-3

Friday on the other hand we managed 12 fish between 3 of us. Another boat was smaking the snot out of fish about 50 yards from us. We lost about another 10-15 due to poor hook sets. So is life but at least we didnt get skunked.

Sunday ( Easter ) produced No stripers but managed to Snag a 10+lb Sturgeon in the back on a Yo-Zuri and a big Channel Cat that was snagged on the same lure. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Oh well I guess I gotta take the good with the bad.

Keep your fingers crossed for some steady warm weather. We need it BAD.
