And also in the Delaware City area? Any info appreciated as I'll be there next weekend. I'll be bringing a small spinning rod suitable for schoolie bass fishing.

Anybody so kind to assist bd would also be helping me out. I, too, am looking for a shore spot in the Balimore area.

Haven't fished Baltimore for a few years, but the spots there are where you find 'em. I used to have a friend in Dundalk area and I fished in some of the small parks near the Key Bridge and Bear Creek area when I'd visit. Can't recall the park names right now, but there were many places. Also, used to fish around some of the bridges at night, wading and/or with a float tube, being very careful to frequent bridges with low volume of boat traffic! Striper fishing was quite good at times, usually around dawn and dusk. Mostly 12"-15" fish, but my biggest there was 34". Some blues up to 2-3 lbs. in the summer/fall, too. A Gartside Gurgler with a small Clouser trailer about 15" back was a good search combo. Be careful wading, lots of tires, concrete chunks, etc. in the water and drop-offs, too. Also, its an urban area, so try to look local and don't use that flashy gold reel. I never had any trouble and the locals were quite helpful with recommending other spots nearby, but they don't like the snobby flyfisher stereotype. Good luck and toss a few casts back into that rotted pier and, hey, the right rear quarter panel of the '68 chevy in 8' of water's been hot the last few days.
