Dave,
First and foremost great read..I had wanted to pick up your book around christmas time but weas unable as it wasnt on the shelves anywhere. I was in barnesand nobles last week poking around and cpme across "on the run" I bought it and I must say I had a hard time putting it down. I'm a casual reader but I read this every chance I could get. Great story and experiences.
thanks for creating such a story.

my question is how scary was it to tie into a bluefish while skishing?
I think there would be a major issue trying to land one in it's own envoirment.

Thanks again,

Mike

Mike, I'm glad you liked the book.
Landing the big blue while floating in my wetsuit was a touch tricky as it kept thrashing on the surface snapping its jaws not far from my face. I felt like it wanted to latch onto my nose. To grab it I held the rod in one hand and reached for its shoulders with the other hand. Once I got a grip I wasn't going to let him loose.

During the fight the fish did spin me around and roll me off balance a few times. I was eating water.

All in all, I like having my feet on a rock or sand in the middle of the night.
