How long have you been at Field and Stream? The Bashlines are old family friends (I tagged along with Jim when he hunted with my grandfather). Sylvia's cookbook is dogeared on my kitchen shelf.

Fishinimpossible, I've only been at F&S for about a year. While I know of the Bashlines I don't know them. It's been some time since either has contributed to the mag...but I grew up reading many of their pieces.

If you read the mag, you may have noticed we cover a bit more salt/stripers than in previous years...guess who is behind that?
