Great book, I finished in 2 days because I couldn't put it down--125-3 . Unfortunately that was last December so I have had a winter of cabin fever to squash(#$119)

I am curious about the ending for the book. You spend a lot of time (deservingly so) on New England, and down through New Jersey. Once you dip into Delmarva the pace sped up. You mention in the book that budget constraints led to less time there, however do you see a future or an addition to the book with the same attention to Mid Atlantic states down to NC as you did with New England?

ruge13.

Time and money were an issue in Delmarva but the biggest problem was that I had trouble finding the type of obsessive/zany/eccentric/go for broke characters that I found in New England. A lot of guys had tuned into hunting season by the time I arrived and others fish the Upper and Mid Chesapeake which didn't work since I was following the ocean fish. And I didn't want to force text/experiences on the reader if it didn't feel equal or better than what came before it. To be honest, the Delmarva chapters is one of my personal favorites.

Doubt there will be a future edition of the book with new material, but you never know...if so, don't be surprised if I ask you for the numbers of your crazy striper buddies. -d

Shaun,
You are right. The fishing down here is no good. No bonito, no albies, no stripers. You should tell all your friends not to come down here this fall. --127-3-
