Not really sure when Monomoy starts to heat up, but I'm thinking of heading out there sometime in the next couple weekends, towards the end of May, on a saturday or sunday, pm me if you have similar plans.

If your going by ferry, OMH runs between the summer holidays only. So they won't be operating until Memorial Day weekend. In my experience, it doesn't start heating up until the second weekend in June.

Thanks Ray, can you fish it during late July-August? I'll be back there on vacation for a few weeks and will be in the area.

Of course you can. There are fewer fish on the flats as the summer progresses, but that is when they feed frequently on crab. If you go then, bring a wide range of crab patterns and light sinking line, say 200 grain or so.
