in this season's swaps.. THANKS! The quality of the flies was great, a ton of variety, and people from all over the US, and even Puerto Rico. I never had to do any work what so ever, just sort and go. Keep this in mind as the real season progresses, if you get a fish on someone elses fly, post it, or pm them. I always love to know how others made out with stuff I tied, I am sure others do to...
Thanks to those who are new to tying, and took a chance by entering the swaps. Myself included, I always like to see other's work. Helps generate new ideas, learn new tricks, and keeps me from falling into a pattern of tying the same stuff the same way.
Thanks to all who let me use extras for giveaways, or to send to Iron Mike for the auctions. That says a ton about the character of people on this site and others.
I also want to thank others like SPCantwell and Scmdermott for helping conduct several of the swaps and maintain a high level of organization with multiple swaps.
I hope we can generate the same if not more interest next winter with multiple swaps. Not only that but beat the record setting Bonefish swap that filled in less than 24 hours!!
Good luck to all this season!:)
