Summer weather has setled in. Offshore has been up and down with Dolphin in the usual weeds & flotsam. There have been a lot of Marlin caught and seen while Dolphin fishing. When trolling for Dolphin keep one of the lures a bit larger and a smoking/bubble trail type and you could bring up a Marlin. Once you hit the Dolphin get the fly rod ready for the followers.

Gulf rockpiles & wrecks are loaded with Sharks, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Snapper and some nice Cobia mixed in. It has been very good for fly fishing. Anchor above the wreck & chum and within a few minutes....sharks 4'-6' Blacktips, Spinners, Reef, Bull... show up on the surface. A little while after that there have been Cobia...also great on the fly.

Stay down deep and Grouper are hungry. Live pinfish, dead bait, jigs.

Reef has been good for Snapper, Grouper and a Blackfin Tuna here and there.
