Does any one know where I can get some 50lb micron backing around here, need 500yds Billy Pates reels. I have 30lb on the Tarpon reels, but need 50 for the Marlins.

Why noit use 50# spectra? For big fish stuff that's what most of the offshore folks are using now. More backing capacity and a lot less drag. Tuf XP, Power Pro, Izorline are a few that I have had recommended to me.
