I need to snake some wires to the back of the boat and was wondering what you guys use.

On past projects (transducer cable, etc.) I've used stiff shark wire, but I've always been concerned that, since it's thin, if I used too much force it might cut into other lines along the way (fuel line, for example).

Any suggestions?

You could try a standard plumbers snake. In the future, try to leave a chase string in there in case you have to snake anything else through. I usually just use kite string or 80 pound fishing line and try to have at least two all the time. I tie the ends off to a wire or cable that's already going through there so the ends don't find their way back into the hole. Makes life a whole lot easier.

thanks. I'll try the plummers snake. I did leave a washline in there last time, but it's disappeared somehow. (Must have dropped in during some pounding in the Montauk rip. I'll do a better job securing it this time.

I just wired my bow mounted trolling motor

Bought "wire" snake in the elec. dept. at the hardware store.......very stiff stuff.......best $25 spent on the whole project... worth the price don't mess around with outher solutions this works and makes things easy.
