Friday Winthrop

Hey guys,
It was nice to meet Shaun & Jeff (aka Riddler) at Winthrop, even if just a few minutes as they were leaving Friday night.

Got a chance to meet LeonR and my buddy Brian joined. Leon also lives in Marlboro, so I think I got new fishing mate. Flyfishing sharpie, so I suspect I'll learn a great deal from him.

Fishing was kinda slow, but I still managed to catch 8 bass, biggest was a 33" fatty. LeonR got a keepa on the fly as well. I was out there are all night. It was really nice out there and I could not get myself off the water. I paid for it on Saturday tho. I was spent! (#$119)

Wondering how Pax and Shaun did on the boats Sat?

Glad you found some fish out there....On Sam's boat...We had a really really slow day. Found some blues early in front of Lobsterville beach. After that we went deep for Bass and had a slow day, never even had a pickup. Marked a bunch, that was it... Worked around the Elizabeths for as while in the afternoon.

Ended up inside the Westport River around the islands. Picked up a bunch of schoolies there as the tide slacked off with small flies. Once the tide turned everything died out for us and we packed it in..Would be a great spot to kayak to access the islands surrounded by deeper water if there was any parking:rolleyes:
