New Guy seeks experienced saltwater flyrodder to help me learn this exciting dimension of our sport.
I am a fairly accomplished and experienced flyrodder on the Farmington River and in the Catskills. Made my first Steelhead trip last November (successfully ;) ). Have limited experience in the salt but have caught a few stripers and blues over the last 2 seasons. :)
I live in Central CT and am looking to learn the CT (preferably eastern CT) and RI shorelines fishing from shore. Will drive and provide meals and beverages :-%, and will pay at least half the gas if boating.
Willing to fish overnight if necessary and productive; prefer mornings, evenings (until 10pm for example) and sight fishing by day, if possible. :brow
Gimme a holler and let me know! I am off from work until August 5th and my work schedule is flexible beyond that.
