We are comtamplating heading offshore, leaving from Greenwich, CT this weekend. What direction should we head to get to a productive area fastest? Around Montauk or boogie down past the western end of LI?

last year about this time reports were coming in south of block island that small tuna were starting to show. Seeing that would be the far end of your run, I'd head just south and just east of the LI tip onto those waters. Water temps should be increasing down that way.
