Best time for ½ day of backcountry fishing? EARLY Morning or LATE Afternoon?

I've had better luck on the absolute earliest suitable morning tides in 90% of my fishing. Most of my buddies agree. But I have had (10%) incredible afternoons/evenings also. I always opt for the early half day trips.

Try the early morning for fishing because it's HOT, no - VERY HOT in the afternoon sun ! Roast 'em & toast'em if you've got'em or if the tides better ! :cool:
