The mouth of the Essex fished well this AM. At first light, even though it was high tide, there were birds working the mouth and behind Crane Beach.
Saw a shore fisherman beach a nice-sized keeper (which he kept) right at the tip of Crane.
Although the action was a little slower than previous mornings, the fish were nice sized - 22 - 26" - with nothing smaller mixed in. By 8 AM, it was pretty much over.
Other boats seemed to be doing well from what I could observe.
