Hadn't fished in over 2 weeks so took the yak out yesterday early just before high. Paddled up to half tide rocks and found a lot of small fish. Need to bring the 5 wt.. Had good action right up to the top of the tide and then it slacked off for about 1/2 hr and picked up again. Nothing large as I said the biggest being 22".
Would have stayed longer but the east wind was kicking up and it started to get crowded so called it a day after 7:30. It was nice to get back out.
