wader ??

i was looking at a tackle catalog and they have flyweight waders what are these ment for

Can't say I've ever heard that one. May just be a marketing term* for lightweight or breathable type waders.

* you know like "space-age" (wasn't that the early 60's??)

flyweight used to mean a ureathane or pvc coated fabric that was very light in weight- pre-breathable waders. Had all of the condensation problems of neoprene with none of the benefits.
