I have a 4pc 9ft 9wt GLX factory rod in lightly used condition that I'd like to trade for a 2 pc. factory rod in the same condition. Rod comes with original tube and sock.

The RPLXi is definately a quality rod except it's a little too heavy for my taste.

It was worth a shot. Actually I've already got the 9 wt. CC GLX. One more wouldn't have hurt though.

Why not sell your 9 wt. CC GLX and buy a 2 piece, 9 wt. GLX? You'd have a few bucks left over in the end too.

The rod I own is the original GLX not the new Cross Current. I guess I could sell this rod and purchase a new one except since I can't afford to pay retail I'd probably have to go 9 wt-less for a period of time while I searched for the right deal. Even worse, the wife might find out about this transaction :eek: and she'd use my GLX funding for other purposes. A trade seems much safer at this point.
