Picture file too big

quick question -
I tried to upload a picture this morning and the file was too big. My file was 925K. What is the size limit? Is there a way to reduce the pixels of my picture and thus lower its size?

If this is a picture from a digital camera, most cameras come with software that can be used to edit the picture. You want to resize the picture size to something like 800 X 600 pixels. Which produces a decent size image on the screen when the thumbnail is clicked.

If you don't have the software, you might be able to find an application on the internet you can download.

If you are running Windows XP Microsoft has a freeware tool that gives you a quick "right click" feature for resizing images. I believe if you do a search on Power Tools on the Microsoft site you will find it.
