Deer Island 08/19 AM

Got out there at around 5am calm and looked good.
Picked up one fish around 22inch between 6&7am I think, on a 8inch Chartruse and white clouser type fly. Had one turn behind a popper as well but no takers after the one.
Saw two guys flyfishing from a boat there they caught 3 that I saw one looked like a good fish, they left early and headed east?
Hope they got more, anyone we know?
I left aroun 10 am wind was picking up.

Hey Leon,

That was me. I posted a couple of pics under Chuck D's post in the Main Forum. We ran out looking for big blues on top but found nothing after a quick look. Ran back inside and found some smaller blues blitzing before calling it a morning around 8.

Nice to meet you. I fish that area a lot--usually weekday early am.
