Came across some old crusty striper plugs, for cheap money, that are pretty good in the body area. Mostly Atoms style shapes.
Thinking of rehooking an repainting them, but what colors? Anyone have a favorite go to plug for color or combination of colors that work for them on stripers and blues? Any help would be appreciated as I mostly fish flies. ;)
Thanks,

i've always been a fan of the old red head/white body. or a black top/silver belly. now, i don't know how much the fish are fans of them, but i sure am! :)

They are old wooden plugs, about 6" in lenght, that were painted several times with spay can paint a brushes. Mostly poppers, some with "V" notch mouths.
Any plugs that you could recommend for a sample to look at?
