does anybody know where i can get a set of large size wading boots? i need a 15! i've had no luck at all. orvis is usually the best place for the large sizes in my experience. they have a bunch of size 14s, but the only 15 is the "battenkill brogues" and it's listed as "not available" in that size. any other ideas?

i got my flats booties from chota, they were the only people that made anything larger than a 13. i think i actually got a size 14 and they fit ok, though i can only wear a pair of thin socks in them. everybody that sells wading boots says to order a size up, so i definitely need a 15.

I have these cabelas in lug sole. they are real cheap stand up to abuse ( well the laces didn't) and run Bigger than most. You can try the 14's and see how they fit.

They make them in 15...good boot too.

I have a pair of the studded guide boots in 15 and love them.

Geez your right!!!
When i got them 2 years ago i bought the 14 cause i wear size 13 and figured i needed to go a size bigger for the neo boot foot and socks. They ended up being way to big so i sent them back for the 13's....I just checked and yes both the denier and the freestone only go up to 13 now.
Sorry about that. Should have checked before posting. (#$119)
Try calling orvis shops all over and see what they have. You might find one that has a pair in stock and will ship it to you.

According to the Simms website they still make the freestone in 15. If you call a Simms dealer like The Lower Forty they will be able to special order.

I have size 16 feet, and have a killer time finding shoes and stuff. However, the size 14 Cabela's wading boots work for me. Haven't figured out how that works yet, but I don't care to . Yes they are a bit tight when dry until you get them wet and they loosen up, but I have put many miles on them and they are comfortable and hold up. I have gone through 2 pairs of the ultralights in 4 years- which I thought was a long lasting boot with the way I use them. others needed to be replaced each year. If you go to the website they have a size 14 listed...let me know if you have any other q's about 'em. paste this into your browser...

This thread is over a year old so I've long since gotten my boots! :)

I ended up with a pair of Orvis Henry's Fork wading shoes in a size 15. I have 14 wide/15 feet and my stockingfoot waders fit inside of them very comfortably.

It might actually have been a good thing since I never posted what I actually bought, and knowing what/where I got them might help somebody else! :)
