We launched at around 3am despite weather predictions it was calm, all looked good.Scott hooked up on tube within seconds after dropping it and starting to troll, after that it was quiet for a while Kris and Scott went off to DI light and got hooked up a few times but only landed one I think. I worked Fauns bar with the fly but after 3 hours of casting I could not even catch a cold, not a single take! Kris and Scott then trolled up to the tip of Fauns and got into some nice fish with me still flogging a dead horse on the fly. :mad:
As we were going to leave and started paddling back slowly with them trolling slowly they both hooked up again and I decided to throw a fly one last time while they were fighting fish and straight away hooked solid.
Nice fish 36inch and that was that for me. :)
I saw only one small fish caught.
In all a good day for the tubes but again the fly was slow.
Was fun to fish with Kris and his brother, problem was that nobody told Scott as a visitor his was not supposed to get more fish than the regulars...
