I hired a guide named Sharme from Gordo Banks Pangas in San Jose loc Cabos which is about 25min from Cabo. I paid 180 and he was semi knowledgable about Flyfishing. Ended up trolling live sardines half of the time becasue the fish were scattered. I landed 3 large Sierra mackerals about 10lbs each and caught a few Bonito on the flyrod after Sharme located a Bait Ball on the surface. There are guides in Cabo but like everything in Cabo the prices are sky high. I would recommend taking a day trip to the East Cape if you have the time. We escaped San Jose and drove a little over an hour to Los Barilles. The water is clear and flat becasue it is on the protected side from the currents and huge swells you will find in Cabo. beach fishing is nearly impossible around Cabo due to the crashing surf. If you go stay at the Los barilles hotel 55 per night. Rent an Atv and hit the beach. wittich. send me a PM if you have any other ?.
