Nope, however my 4 year old broke an IM7 Cabela's rod this weekend while doing his Manny impression on the water.
My initial thought was "santa needs to bring an ugly stick" for this boy
My wifes uncle guides and he'll only buy ugly stix bait/spinning and trolling rods.

Ugly Sticks Are Great For Spinning And/or Casting But Not For Flyfishing.
I Once Casted A #10 And It Seemed Too Heavy I Felt Like All The Weight Was On The Tip. Not A Good Rod For Blindfishing And Casting All They Long, Maybe A Good Deal For Sight Fishing The Flats For Tarpoon Or Offshore On A Very Cheap Strong But Heavy Rod.
