Took the kayaks out this morning off of Black and White beaches from 6 - 8 am at dead low tide. Beautiful morning after the fog lifted but no signs of bait, birds, or fish in the area. Some pretty good swells out there.

Same thing round Lynch/Brackenbury area at 8 am...a few birds here and there, no bait, few fish. Scared a few schoolies in 2 feet of water, lost one fish in the cloudy, mung filled flats ....

West Beach; covered with mung,eelgrass...water was murky, could not see bottom-knee deep. The beach is a total mess and who knows how long it will take to clear up. --124-3

ya I thought casting clousers and deceivers tight into the rocks would pull up something.
I am tainted by past years when each morning the would consistently be visible bait, birds and fish.
I'm headed to the Vineyard this weekend with Sentience so that should be fun.

Too bad the bass didn't. Launched in Mht and cruised along West Beach looking for surface activity. Found several pods of bait fish dancing on the surface, but there were no predators eating them. Didn't have any hits on anything we threw. Fished through the bait, under the bait, on the outskirts of the bait, and in the complete opposite direction of said bait. Also noticed a ton of shrimp throughout the beach front and harbor....
