Hey gang,

I think I've finally got the hang of taking fly pics. Check this one out. I get the "suspended in space" effect by editing out the bodkin I used to hold the fly in front of a block of computer packing sponge...go figure?

The pic was taken in natural light (kitchen counter) with my Fuji Finepix s602pro zoom camera on super-macro setting.

That is a great photo and a great fly. Is it weighted to ride point up as in the photo, or do you dead drift it in current?

That shrimp pattern is awesome! I like your idea of editing out the bodkin in the picture - that gives it a whole new dimension. Nicely done!
