Just for your info. I have a saltwater 6wt, 9', TiCr, which I have had a blast with for the stripers.

I own the TiCr 7wt and it's quite a nice rod. I throw a Orvis wonderline advantage 7WFF line with it and...8WFF Royal Wulff Triangle Taper with it...no problems overlining at all. A nice powerfull 7wt in the wind.
