This truly has been a crazy year. We are now having a run of sailfish which is odd for us. Today we released three sailfish plus one blue marlin. We also have been seeing many more dolphin than normal. Wahoos are still biting good we caught five today and another boat caught one that topped the scales at 80 plus lbs. Combination of bait (rigged ballyhoo and needlefish being used but our personal preference continues to be the Yo Zuri Bonitas 8 3/8 in the orange and black and anything heavy enough to drag at 10 plus knots in the rigger with purple/black being the preference. Over half the bites coming right in the prop wash so don’t forget to fish some close.

PS. It was 85 degrees today and flat calm, so tough in paradise

Geoff,
Your killin' us up here! :)
Today was a wet and crappy 55 degrees, and we have an unusual amount of moths still around for this time of year...
Killin' us!
...but it's nice to know someone's on the water out there on a FAC day...

I cna really be a X?##? sometimes. I don't know what possessed me to rub that in. Every year about this time I remember how cold and miserable I would get in Texas. Too cold and wet to do anything productive and not cold enough to hunt, if you know what I mean. I vowed to never be cold again when I left and I get a little smug this time of year.
Not too worry it'll pass or better yet come down and warm up sometime.

No worries!
Thanks for the report. I've only been to the T&Cs once (two years ago in March), and I remeber how calm it got a few days when I was there. truely beautiful.
Thanks for the report. Wish I was there!

Hey Geoff- Just booked a trip with you in march a few weeks ago...super pumped to get out there for it! But anyways, I was wondering if you thought that wahoo on the fly is a legit thing. I would think that they might be too spread out for the fly thing, but any opinions you have as to how we could try to do this would be very much appreciated.
Anyways, see you in march!

Geoff,
I'm looking forward to cruising in TCI 15 Jan to 22 Jan on my timeshare 70' Catamaran. The operator is Tradewinds Cruise Club and it's their first year in TCI. They haven't nailed down an itinerary yet that I can count on to book a half-day guide (as it must be because we cruise from cove to cove, island to island from Providenciales.) Are you available on short notice that week for a morning and location yet to be determined? I realize it's asking alot but I'm just trying to explore my options.
