went blackfishing with a friend in his 21' steiger craft off green hill. we cut that short. we saw gannets working off nebraska shoals. ran out there, set out a rebel jawbreaker on 30 lb. mono and a 6" storm shad on wire. fish were moving all over the place. i hook a fish, break off at boatside. finally, both rods go down, line going from both of them. soon, 2 20 lb. stripers are in the cooler. back at the docks, they were full of herring. time to get out there, fellas. some of the birds were acting like they do off cape cod when they were over bft.
