Fall/Early Winter fishing is here......Cooler water and air temps (water 75 degrees) mean big Grouper and Snapper as well as Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish and Sailfish.

Atlantic side this week we caught a ton of 10-20 pound Gag and Black Grouper, Mutton Snapper to 15 pounds, a few good size Yellowmouth Grouper, small Amberjack and small King Mackerel. At the west end of the bar Blackfin Tuna are everywhere. Sails are increasing in number from Sand Key to the Sub wreck with a few caught farther to the east.

Gulf side has been up and down and the water is very dirty out past a few miles. Closer in wrecks have produced some nice Kingfish to 30 pounds as well as big Sharks and plenty of small Cobia. We were catching some big Cobia a few weeks ago but they seemed to have vanished for now. Once the winter is really here the bruisers will be back.
